The directory aims to provide human edited listings for all the UK based gyms, clubs for boxing and MMA, dance studios, spas and health resorts for the public. We have enabled this site to be access wireless so that it can be made usable on iPhone and any other device - free.

If you are a club or gym owner and wish to get yourself a profile then please use the submissions form from the registration profile. Coaches and fitness instructors also have free listings.

The directory is aiming for quality based profiles, with quality content, photos and videos which include promotional footage. All media can be uploaded freely. The directory uses a three tier principle: Manual managed submission, relevant and accurate content -quick search friendly.

ANOTHER DIRECTORY?

We don't think its fair that we are thought of as a "another directory". There are plenty, if not, thousands of directories currently on the Internet, we however are a small niche based directory of essentially fitness and boxing database listings, we have advanced search features, search filtering, result sorting, open source API, a unique indexation and archiving system - and most importantly, we only feature up to date listings by real people.

FIT-DIRECTORY VS THE WORLD

There are a number of reasons that we think our directory is great. It’s free, it’s relevant, we monitor each link, we verify each submission, we have many fields and important information and tools that make the listing and searching useful and informative. We take pride in our manufactured gym and boxing equipment, so we wanted to give the Internet something back, a great unique directory that does what it says. There are thousands of other sites that have broken links, no search features and no filtering - what if you wanted to find a fitness instructor in your area, you would check the local listings and make a call, you can do this with Fit-Directory, not only that, you can see pictures of that instructor and even results you may be interested in, videos and reviews - we essentially keep it simple, but the option of having more is always open to the user.
